The great flexibility and adaptability shown by Sue and Wayne was amazing, they stepped in at the very last minute on Christmas Eve to provide alternative accommodation for my family and grandchildren when our first place was unfit to stay in. Your hospitality was brilliant and your welcome warming which was just what we needed. The accommodation was comfortable and provided us with a relaxing atmosphere and a great place for our holiday. Your farm was a great adventure park for the grandchildren, from the play park/ climbing frame, the tree house, the greetings received from your dogs, the chickens and geese were all greatly accepted and the topping on the cake was riding the pony around the yard. You definitely made this a memorable holiday for us all, and we hope to come back again in 2023.

Reviews
We love meeting new people and sharing with them our pleasure and appreciation of Suffolk’s beautiful and unspoilt countryside. We want nothing more than for you to make yourself at home within your chosen cottage and we aim to make you stay as wonderful as possible.
Here are some of the reviews that are guests have left us. You can also read our reviews on Trip Advisor.
I would just like to thank you and your wonderful family for being such lovely hosts. Our whole family had the most wonderful time both the kids and the adults.
Arthur hasn’t stopped talking about his new best friend Gussy since we’ve been home! The accommodation is so beautiful and everything we could have possibly wanted was there for us.
The pony rides, feeding the baby lambs, the tractor rides, building dens in the woods, rounders in the field and BBQs were all enjoyed so much.
This is our first holiday all together since before the pandemic and it was so well needed.
Thank you again, we really did have the most magical time and we cannot wait to come back.

Our 2nd visit to Blacksmiths cottage. Everything we needed was there; the children, particularly enjoyed themselves, being able to ride Peanut, help with mucking out the stables(!), and driving the tractor. We had fun in the woods building a teepee. On our last morning we had breakfast at Laurel garden centre, just 2miles away. A very nice end to our weekend. Thanks Sue for all that you do to make holidays special.

We had an amazing stay at Damerons Farm, the cottages are lovely and well equipped and the setting is very peaceful. The children really enjoyed the animals and were made to feel so welcome getting stuck in with helping out and got the chance for a special ride on the pony!

Brilliant week in The Hayloft. My favourite. Lots of walks on footpaths. Nice and easy access to Sutton Hoo, Southwold and others on the coast. Nice surprise at the farm they have a newly installed 7Kw electric car charge point, big bonus for us! Complimentary bread, bacon and eggs most welcome and delicious.

Our second time at Damerons farm this year, however this time we took my parents. We all had a smashing time and our cottage (Churn House) was spot on for what we wanted. It had everything we needed and the beds were soooo comfy! The games room and the play area was great. All Covid 19 precautions were in place and we all felt very safe here. Thankyou Sue, Wayne and team and hopefully we will be back again in the future!!

We had the splendid fully equipped Coachman’s Cottage (August 2020) -, and this accommodation was perfect for our needs; 2 couples and a 2 year old (stair gate, high chair etc inc). As part of a larger group staying in adjacent cottages, it provided us with a lovely rural backdrop for our three day stay in Suffolk. Besides the wonderful Open spaces around the farm there was also an enclosed large courtyard for games, BBQ and socialising as well as an indoor games’ room with plenty of activities. Next to a small lake was a large open space with slides, swings, climbing apparatus and grass fields for ball games and exploring into the woods! Sue, our charming and friendly host, was marvellous. She ensured that we were comfortable and had all we needed and even took the time to show us around the farm. She introduced us to the variety of animals including the horses, sheep, geese and hens who provided us with our free-range eggs for breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend this delightful venue – especially for families. Many thanks Sue – We’ll be back!

8 of us, including 5 grandchildren came for half- term holiday . We had a lovely time. Beautiful cottage , children really enjoyed helping with the animals – feeding lambs, grooming ponies, feeding chickens and collecting their eggs . Sue was so patient with them. Thank you, Sue .

We returned from our holiday over Christmas with you and your lovely accommodation much refreshed. All parts of the family enjoyed themselves together very much. We are writing to thank you for the care you took to prepare it all for us. It was so nice to have a Christmas tree decorated already. We much appreciate the provisions you left in each of our cottages. Our very best wishes to you and your family for 2017 from us all. A nice little secret tucked away in the middle of the Suffolk countryside. My grown up son and I stayed for a week whilst visiting family and friends in and around Ipswich and mid-Suffolk. Very easy to get to and use as a base for travel, comfortable accommodation and a very relaxed atmosphere around the farm. I wish I could have brought the kids 10 or 15 years ago! Loved the cheeky geese and the chickens and dogs and horses etc!
